This map shows the route from the Hull Scandinavian
Seaways Quay to Newcastle Central Station. It shows part of National cycleway
72. Which leads from Newcastle centre to the coast.
Two routes are marked. One route follows the main road
and is the quickest. The other route follows the Tyne more closely. It gives
spectacular views and is mostly on a car free cycle path, but will take you
through some dark sides of Newcastle. Not for the faint hearted!
Whichever way you go. don't miss the millenium
bridge!
